Come exactly as you are.
Hello! We’re glad you found us. We offer adult mental health therapy for life's changes, self-discovery, and relationships, with a focus on ADHD, autism, and dyslexia.
Our Approach to Therapy
Maybe you're exploring who you are, navigating sticky relationships, or learning what ADHD, autism, or dyslexia means for you or someone you love.
At Zestful Minds, we get curious together. We'll talk, notice what your mind and body are telling you, and connect the dots. We might even use drawing, clay, or movement to explore new ideas.
There's no one right way to do therapy. We'll find what works for you, at your pace.
Wondering if we'd be a good fit? Let's start with a free conversation.

I offer therapy in English and fluent Cantonese. I also speak conversational Mandarin, which I'm happy to use alongside English when helpful.
Hi, I’m Sheena!
Neurodivergence has always been part of my life, so I know a thing or two about the wonderful (and occasionally chaotic) sides of different minds under one roof.
After years in business and consulting, I became a mental health therapist to support adults navigating life transitions, relationships, and changes in identity. I have a special interest in families and adults navigating ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. I especially enjoy helping people connect the dots and better understand themselves.
Outside work, you'll find me drinking tea, knitting, or hanging out with my husband, two boys, and our very cuddly 15-year-old dog.
Want to say hello? Book a free consultation and let's have a chat.
Hi, I’m Katrina! Your Client Care Manager
Sheena and I started building Zestful Minds in early 2026. She had the dream, and I had the organizational skills to help get everything going!
I'm here to help with appointments, paperwork, billing questions, and all the little administrative details that come with getting started. If you're unsure about something or have a question along the way, I'm always happy to help make things a little easier.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, my family and I have called the Dominican Republic home since 2021. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and our cat, enjoying the beach, and getting out for some Latin dancing!
You can reach me at clientcare@zestfulminds.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
What People Are Saying
“There’s a noticeable shift after clients see Sheena—they leave looking calmer and more at ease.”
“I have had the opportunity to supervise Sheena’s clinical work for 8 months and have been consistently impressed by her attunement, clinical judgment, and ability to create a sense of safety for her clients. Sheena has a particular strength in supporting individuals—especially neurodivergent and young adult clients—in regulating their nervous system and gaining meaningful insight. I would feel confident referring clients to her care.”
“Clients frequently report feeling less all over the place, with greater ability to make sense of emotions, patterns, and focus on what truly matters.”
“Deeply validating and non‑judgmental, people describe feeling genuinely heard and emotionally, with a sense that their inner world is taken seriously and there is realistic hope for change.”

Common Questions
-
The clinic is located on the third floor of 1526 Dresden Row, unit 302. If you have a moment, Creamy Rainbow Cafe is on the first floor of our building and their cream puffs are amazing!
-
If you are covered by extended health benefits, many plans cover the cost of multiple sessions with a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate. You will need to check your coverage online through your plan or call them directly. Three questions that are helpful to ask:
Provider coverage: Does my plan cover a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C), not just psychologists or social workers?
Referral requirements: Is a doctor's note or referral needed before the first appointment?
Reimbursement limits: How much is covered per session and annually?
-
Yes! We offer direct billing to many major insurance providers, including Blue Cross, Sun Life, GreenShield, Canada Life, Manulife, Desjardins, and more.
Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend checking that your benefits include services provided by a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C).
If direct billing isn't available, or your insurance only covers part of the session fee, we'll charge the remaining balance to your credit card on file.
You'll always receive an invoice for your sessions, so you can also submit it to your insurance provider for reimbursement if needed.
-
Absolutely—all first time clients can book a one-time 20 min free consultation to assess if we are the right fit. If you feel comfortable and would like to work together, subsequent appointments are available to be booked as 60 min sessions at a cost of $160 each.
-
You don't need an official diagnosis to start therapy. We'll work with your experiences, wherever you are in the process. If you're wondering whether to pursue a diagnosis, we can talk through what it might mean for you, weigh the pros and cons, and explore a referral to a psychologist if you decide to go ahead.
-
Once you've booked your first appointment, you'll be asked to complete two short forms before we meet.
Client Information & Insurance – A few basic details about you and your insurance, if you have coverage.
Consent, Confidentiality & Practice Policies – Covers how therapy works, your privacy, and a few important things to know about the practice.
Just a little paperwork to get us started, so we can spend our first session focusing on you instead of filling out forms.

Service animals are always welcome at Zestful Minds.
While we're unable to welcome other pets into the building at this time, you may occasionally spot a small Yorkshire terrier therapy dog visiting the rooms near ours.
If you have any concerns about animals in the clinic, please let Katrina know at clientcare@zestfulminds.com so we can make arrangements to help you feel comfortable.
